Magate Wildhorse Consulting joins Global Affairs Canada and the rest of Canada in celebrating International Development Week 2020 (IDW 2020).
This year we “Go for the Goals” by sharing information for advancing the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- 1 — No Poverty
- 5 — Gender Equality
- 7 — Affordable and Clean Energy
- 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth
- 11 — Sustainable Cities and Communities
- 13 — Climate Action, and
- 10 — Reduced Inequalities.
While the focus is more directly on the seven SDGs listed above, we know there will be direct benefits to goals number 14, 15 and even 16 (life below water, life on land and peace).
Join us on February 7, 2020 for the release of our resource list on micro-grid technology solutions for advancing SDGs.
Watch for the list of micro-grid technology service providers and success stories in the form a resource kit for government departments, international development entities, and NGOs who are in the process of executing their climate finance strategy plans.
The list will be available on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram as well as on MagateWildhorse.ca
We believe the list will also be useful to actors involved in job creation, climate change, women and economic empowerment.
You are welcome to add to the resources that we have compiled in the kit via comments.
International Development Week is convened by Global Affairs Canada.
This year’s observation represents the 30th edition of the celebrations.
